The revitalization of an old building is always a special challenge. This was particularly successful in the Gatterburggasse 12 project in the 19th district of Döbling in Vienna, as shown by the 5-star award in the “Best Residential / Renovation Redevelopment” category. A total of 116 apartments are being built from the former administrative building in Döbling.
The client BUWOG has commissioned the Switelsky company to implement this demanding project with three basement and 6 storeys. The front part of the collection was preserved. In the rear of the new building, modern, well-equipped apartments with a terrace, balcony, loggia or garden are being built.
RINGER material worth € 650,000 was used. The walls were made with Steel- and Alu- Master elements, the ceilings were formed with the RINGER Flex system. An extensive range of materials was used on site, from Concreting Platforms, 3S Platforms, fall protection, props and a modular stair tower for safe ascent. Site manager Wolfgang Kovacs is extremely satisfied with the robustness and performance of the RINGER material. Even a 30-year-old Alu light weighted formwork was in use.
