AL2000
A school with historical background!
At first glance, the Willy Brandt comprehensive school in Munich looked like a regular school that was perhaps getting a bit old. But if you looked closely, you would discover a work of art at the entrance to the school building. A mosaic by the Austrian artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser. Due to the new construction & renovation of the school, this also has to move, but it will find its place again in the new building.
For the "project groundwork", the company Bako Bau GmbH was commissioned, which regularly uses RINGER products for their projects.
For the basement in particular, our AL2000 formwork was convincing. Thanks to the easy handling without crane as well as the variety of element sizes, our "all-rounder" was persuasive in forming the narrow and partly difficult to reach basement rooms. In the first construction phase, the foundations and the partition walls in the basement were formed. With a total area of 230m², the AL2000 was partly installed as a single unit and without supporting frames. The panels were moved by hand. Concreting was carried out from above through an opening (core drilling) in the slab/joist, the concrete was compressed with an external vibrator. Completion of the school building is scheduled for the end of 2022.
As an Austrian company, we are of course particularly proud to be involved in a project with Austrian art.
